Mean Green Juice

Starting your day with a green juice is a healthy alternative to your normal morning coffee routine and a great way to jump start your vegetable intake for the day.  

Since I don’t own a juicer I have to get creative when it comes to making juice at home. This is a very simple and approachable green juice recipe I came up with, especially if you’re new to drinking your vegetables.

Ingredients
5-6 ice cubes
1 cup spinach
2 stalks dino Kale; de-stemmed
1 stalk celery
1 small apple, cored
1 Tbs red maca powder
1.5 cups cold water

Combine ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour contents through a sieve into a tall glass and enjoy your green superfood juice!
