Chia Seed Breakfast Pudding
Chia seeds are an excellent source of omega fatty acids, protein, and soluble fiber. They contain more natural antioxidants than flax and are packed full of other vitamins and minerals.
This Pudding recipe is an easy and delicious way to get your daily serving of Chia! You can substitute other fruits as your base, but I have found that banana works best. Enjoy!
1 Medium sized banana
2 Tbs Chia seeds
1 Cup almond milk
Dash of cinnamon
Small squirt of honey
Chop banana into small pieces and put into a mason jar. Add remainder of ingredients and shake until mixed throughly. Place in fridge overnight, and enjoy as a delicious breakfast pudding in the morning. The pudding will hold for 2-3 days in an airtight container.
